Experience the power of our Coffee Slates. These beautiful slates are made from OVPolymers’ Ristretto Polymers. This material is composed of 30% coffee grounds and 70% recycled PolyPropylene, resulting in a strong stone with a sustainable foundation. For every square meter, 2.5kg of coffee grounds are used.

Sustainable construction is becoming increasingly important, and this can be approached in various ways. Sustainable construction involves not only considering the use of materials with a low CO2 footprint but also taking a holistic view of the entire picture, considering factors such as lifespan and end-of-life scenarios.

With a CO2 footprint of just 5.6kg/m2, OVPolymers’ Coffee Slates achieve a significant reduction of 60% compared to conventional roof tiles and 90% compared to bricks.

OVPolymers’ slates feature a unique permanent coating that slows down moss growth and is easy to clean. Additionally, this coating provides excellent UV resistance and ensures a long lifespan.

The high recyclability of Coffee Slates ensures that, at the end of their lifespan, the slates can be recycled into new ones.

OVPolymers employs a unique production process for its slates, enabling an endless color palette.

As a standard offering, we provide the Coffee Slates in 7 beautiful colors. For large-scale projects starting from 1,000m2, there is an option to apply custom colors, patterns, and/or logos to the slates. This ensures that the slates perfectly match your design.

OVPolymers’ production technique allows for the placement of your colored logo on the slates. Because logos are not printed on the tile but fused into the tile during the production process, they remain clearly visible throughout the entire lifespan.
